KNprovider Holding ("KNpay", "we", "us") operates the KNpay invoicing platform. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and protect your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Danish law.

2. Data We Collect

• Account information: name, email address and password upon registration
• Business information: CVR number, company name and address (retrieved from Virk.dk)
• Invoice data: amounts, descriptions, due dates and payment status
• Payment data: transaction IDs from Finshark (we never store card details or account numbers)
• Technical data: IP address, device type and app version for debugging purposes

3. Purpose of Processing

• Creation and delivery of invoices
• Processing payments via Finshark PSD2
• Sending automatic payment reminders and receipts
• Accounting integration with Dinero, Billy and e-conomic
• Operation, maintenance and improvement of the platform

4. Legal Basis

• Performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) — invoicing and payment processing
• Legal obligation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)) — bookkeeping and VAT legislation
• Legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) — security and platform stability

5. Third Parties and Data Processors

• Finshark AB — PSD2 payment initiation services (Sweden)
• Supabase Inc. — database and server infrastructure (EU Frankfurt)
• Resend Inc. — email delivery
• Virk.dk (Danish Business Authority) — CVR company lookups

All data processors are bound by data processing agreements and process data solely on our instructions.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Invoice data is retained for 5 years in accordance with Danish bookkeeping legislation. You may request deletion of your account and data by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your personal data. Contact us at HQ@knprovider.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Authority at datatilsynet.dk.

8. Security

We use TLS 1.2+ encryption, EU-based hosting and strict access controls. All payment data is handled exclusively by Finshark — we never store bank account numbers or card details.

9. Cookies

The KNpay app does not use tracking cookies. We only use technically necessary session tokens for authentication.
